Zionsville (11 10): The Eagles will be big in the middle with 7 foot Derrik Smits to build around. Smits (7 ppg), Michael Sollman (8.9 ppg) at point guard and Alex Sibila (6 ppg) at forward give coach Shaun Busick a solid combination of inside outside threats.

Roncalli (10 10): Coach Michael Wantz's team was .500 a year ago, but 6 4 point guard Jimmy King is back to help improve that mark. Cam Smock and David Holtkamp also return as regulars, but the Rebels will be a bit smaller than in recent years.

Avon (10 12): Senior Conner Funkhouser (15.4 ppg) is the top returning scorer among four starters who are back, and that has Orioles hopes surging. Swing men Brandon Peters and David Griffith also return, along with junior forward Logan White.

Mt. Vernon (24 2): Travis Daugherty takes over the Marauders with just two starters, but one of them is Junior All Star C. J. Coleman (19.6 ppg) and the other is forward Dan Werner, so the new coach has some building blocks. Three freshmen and two sophomores could help.

Whiteland (8 14): The Warriors lost a lot of firepower, with 6 4 senior forward John Hubler the most prolific weapon. Coach Matt Wadsworth will have eight other players, three of them freshmen or sophomores, in the mix.
